Terese G. DeYoung, 76, Warsaw, passed away at 2:12 a.m. Sept. 7, 2015, at Lutheran Hospital of Indiana, Fort Wayne. She was born April 14, 1939, in Chicago, Ill., to Edward and Antoinette Potenza Stack. On Jan. 6, 1970, in Chicago, Ill., she married John R. DeYoung, who survives in Warsaw. She graduated from Evergreen Park High School and attended University of Illinois, Urbana, Ill. She was a homemaker and was formerly a registered nurse for Cook County Hospital in Chicago. She moved to Warsaw in 1983 from the Chicago area and wintered in Florida for many years. Also surviving are: her daughter, Jennifer (and spouse Drew) Shingler, Warsaw; two grandchildren, John and Jaclyn Shingler; and two brothers, Andre Stack, Nevada, and Stanley Stack, Arizona. She was preceded in death by her parents. No services are planned.
