Tennis Roundup: Vikings Sweep LaVilleAKRON – Tippecanoe Valley didn’t lose a set in a 5-0 non-conference boys tennis win over LaVille Thursday.
Keith Wright earned a 6-2, 6-2 over Jordan Karczewski at No. 1 singles, and Seth Hoffman dropped just two second-set games in his win over Shawn Horne at No. 2 singles. At No. 3 singles, Eric Wright beat Doug Cashen 6-2, 6-3.
Dakota Parker and Garrett Feldman beat Conner Carlisle and Sam Contreras 6-3, 6-2 in No. 1 doubles. Dylan Sponseller and Chris Schipper  won at No. 2 singles without dropping a game.
Valley will host Triton on Tuesday.

Wawasee Falls To Concord, 4-1
DUNLAP – Wawasee’s Nate Perek took a 6-3, 6-3 win over Concord’s Tate Nicoson in the visiting Warriors’ 4-1 loss to the Minutemen in Northern Lakes Conference play Thursday.
The Wawasee junior varsity lost 7-1 to Concord.
Wawasee (5-2 overall, 0-2 in the NLC) will host its varsity duals tournament on Saturday.
