One of two Warsaw teens injured in a Friday motorcycle accident was airlifted to Parkview Hospital, Fort Wayne.
Kaleb Pratt, 18, Warsaw, suffered a head injury in the 4:24 p.m. accident on Logan Street, between Eagle and Prairie streets, Warsaw. He was treated at Parkview and later released.
Pratt was a passenger on the motorcycle driven by Russel W. Brown Jr., 16, of Warsaw. Brown suffered unspecified injuries and was taken to Kosciusko Community Hospital, Warsaw, for treatment.
Brown lost control of the motorcycle when he hit a curb and grate at Eagle Street and was unable to correct the motorcycle. The vehicle went down south of Prairie Street. Police said the accident scene was more than 500 feet long.
Neither Brown nor Pratt was wearing a helmet, according to a Warsaw Police Department spokesman.
The accident remains under investigation.
