SIDNEY - Two teen-agers were injured Friday when the off-road vehicle they were on flipped over in a field off Ind. 14.

According to a report from the Department of Natural Resources Indiana Conservation Officers, District One, Aaron Sundheimer, 16, of Wabash, was driving the four-wheeler along a path in a cornfield south of Ind. 14, one-half mile east of the intersection of Ind. 13.

The vehicle was traveling about 25 mph when the surface of the field dipped and, before Sundheimer could correct it, the ORV flipped over.

Sundheimer suffered a dislocated shoulder and a passenger, Mariel Speicher, 16, of North Manchester, suffered facial cuts and a broken jaw. Both were treated at Wabash County Hospital and released.

Authorities said both Sundheimer and Speicher were wearing helmets.
