Teen Serious After CrashNORTH WEBSTER - A North Webster teen is in very serious condition this morning after his motorcycle hit the back of a pickup Wednesday evening.

Jordan Edward Stone, 17, of 4854 Red Eye Drive, North Webster, was listed in very serious condition at Parkview Hospital, Fort Wayne, this morning after being airlifted there Wednesday evening.

According to the Kosciusko County Sheriff's Department, Stone was riding a 2006 Yamaha motorcycle around 5:52 p.m. when he hit a pickup that was stopped in traffic at the intersection of CRs 750E and 500N (Armstrong Road), North Webster. The pickup was driven by Kyle G. Mosher, 45, of 201 E. Greenhaus Drive, Syracuse, who was not injured in the crash.

Mosher had stopped his pickup to wait for westbound traffic to turn at the intersection.

Stone was immediately airlifted to Parkview Hospital for treatment.

The crash remains under investigation by the Kosciusko County crash investigation team.

The team was also assisted at the scene by the North Webster EMS, North Webster/Tippecanoe Township Fire Department, North Webster Police Department and the Kosciusko County Sheriff's Department.
