SYRACUSE – An out-of-control teenager had Syracuse emergency services personnel searching for the adolescent for about two hours Thursday. At approximately 6 p.m., Syracuse police were sent to a residence for a report of an out-of-control teenager. Once the police arrived, the 14-year-old fled on foot. After police were unable to find the teenager, the Turkey Creek Fire and EMS were requested to assist with the search at 7:46 p.m. A search was conducted by the Syracuse Police and Turkey Creek Fire and EMS. Benton Township Fire Dept. was called in to assist with the search at 8 p.m. A total of 25 emergency personnel conducted the search, and the teenager was found heading back to the residence at 8:15 p.m. The teenager was evaluated at the scene by Turkey Creek Fire Territory EMS personnel due to the cold weather condition. No further medical attention was required. The teenager was returned unharmed to his parents.
