A Nappanee teen was arrested late Tuesday afternoon after police say she sold methamphetmine to undercover officers for the third time. Tasha Marie Bruce, 18, of 215 E. Lincoln St., Nappanee, faces a single preliminary charge of dealing methamphetamine after Kosciusko County Drug Task Force officers made an alleged meth buy from her in the parking lot of the Teachers Credit Union in Warsaw. Drug officers reportedly had made two purchases of meth from Bruce on previous occasions before again making a finalizing buy Tuesday afternoon at the bank, according to the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department. Police will commonly make multiple drug purchases to ensure charges and prosecution stick. Bruce is being held in Kosciusko County Jail. She is awaiting a bond setting.
