SILVER LAKE - A LaFountaine teen is in critical condition after an early-morning accident today in southern Kosciusko County.
Sean T. Barton, 19, was ejected from the car he was driving when the vehicle left the roadway on Ind. 14 at CR 100W and rolled over several times. He suffered head and internalÊ injuries in the 2 a.m. accident and was taken to Kosciusko Community Hospital, Warsaw, before being transferred to Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne.
According to a Kosciusko County Sheriff's Department press release, Barton was eastbound on Ind. 14 when he went off the southern edge of the roadway into a ditch.
A passenger in the car, Austin R. Ables, 14, South Whitley, suffered minor injuries and was taken to KCH for treatment.
