Bob Sanders, Warsaw, gets set to tee off Monday in an 18-hole scramble at Tippecanoe Lake Country Club. The event, coupled with a dinner, dance and auction held Saturday evening, raised gross proceeds of more than $80,000. Sanders spearheaded the local effort as president of the organizational committee. Half of the money raised will go to the American Cancer Society. Half will be used locally to assist cancer patients with costs that are not covered by insurance or any other funding. Pictured with Sanders are members of his foursome in the golf outing.
