Ted Slone, 62, died June 25, 2007, in Citrus Memorial Hospital, Inverness, Fla.
He was born Jan. 22, 1945, in Manton, Ky., to Edd and Ida Hall Slone. On June 9, 1962, he married Diana Feighner, who survives.
Living most of his life in the Silver Lake area, he was a self-employed farmer and truck driver.
Also surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Dr. Michael Herron (Dawn Marie) Goodpaster, Crystal River, Fla., and Christina Lee Schnitz, Huntington; four grandchildren; a brother, Willie Slone, Claypool; and four sisters, Hattie Brown, Marcella Kirk and Louise Hopkins, all of Warsaw, and Edna Hughes, Silver Lake. He was preceded in death by two brothers.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Titus Funeral Home, Warsaw, with the Rev. Terry Bradford officiating. Burial will be at a later date.
Calling is from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
