‘What a wonderful time we had’ and ‘What a great bunch of guys’ were some of the comments made by the residents of Miller’s Senior Living Community when the Warsaw Community High School baseball team visited on a recent Friday night. The team was treated to a pizza meal and then the games began. SkipBo and Euchre were played, and the room was filled with laughter, competition, conversation and fun. Dance lessons were even given with several residents learning a hip dance taught by team members. During the event the residents all commented that the team was indeed a special group of guys. The evening ended with pictures, hugs, handshakes, thank you’s and invitations given to visit again soon.
