Louisville Slugger 04, a local age 10-and-under fastpitch softball team is planning a fundraiser Saturday. The team will be selling Nelson’s Golden Glow chicken at the City County Athletic Complex all day beginning at 8 a.m. The team has qualified for the National Softball Association World Series July 20 in Westfield. All proceeds from the fundraiser will go to help pay for their trip. The team represents Kosciusko County and the CCAC. The team will be selling chicken for $7 and “pit-tatoes” for $3, Bottled water is $1. (A free bottle of water is provided with a food purchase.) The team also will be selling rise and roll doughnuts for $1 each or $10 per dozen.
