Tealie Spears, 64, of 2237 E. CR 800S, Claypool, died at 8:59 a.m. Oct. 15, 2007, in Kosciusko Community Hospital, Warsaw.
She was born Dec. 10, 1942, in Floyd County, Ky., to Creed C. and Barbara A. Bradley Flanery. On Feb. 23, 1962, in Claypool, she married Orville Spears, who survives.
A 45-year Claypool resident, she formerly worked at Holiday Inn and Kosciusko Community Hospital. She was a member of Victory Christian Center, Warsaw.
Also surviving are a daughter, Emily Sue Robinson, Claypool; two sons, Rocky Spears, Pierceton, and Deon Spears, Fort Worth, Texas; five brothers: Lloyd Flanery, Yorktown, Va.; Lawrence Flanery, Prestonsburg, Ky.; Curt Flanery, Silver Lake, Ky.; Alex Flanery, Columbia City; and Morvin Flanery, Claypool; three sisters: Janavee Prater, Roann; Millie Prater, Rochester; and Cassie Bradley, Winona Lake; nine grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a sister, three brothers and a grandchild.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw, with Pastors Chad and Roy Burkhart officiating. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery, Claypool.
