LEESBURG – Several local Taxed Enough Already Parties are uniting to host Republican gubernatorial candidate Mike Pence in Kosciusko County.
They will host Pence Dec. 17 at the Robert Bishop Family Farm from noon to 2 p.m.
The address is 1865 W. CR 700N, Leesburg. To get to the farm, turn left at the PNC Bank on Ind. 15N in Leesburg and go two miles.
Attendees are encouraged to bring a side dish to share.
Music will begin at 11:30 a.m. with lunch at noon. Pence will take the stage at 12:30 p.m.
Monica Boyer, co-founder of Kosciusko Silent No More, said the event will be a good way to meet Pence.
“This will be a wonderful afternoon to come out and enjoy an old-fashioned Christmas, and have an opportunity to meet Mike Pence,” Boyer said. “We encourage everyone to come and meet our next potential governor.”
This free event is open to the public. The event will take place in a heated barn.
