Tariffs Hurt Farmers

Posted
Editor, Times-Union:

Comments about tariffs in an article last week seemed to dismiss the potential impact on grain and livestock prices.

Farmers will be on the front line in any trade disputes with China, Canada and Mexico. Our dairy exports have already been damaged with our exit from the Trans-Pacific Partnership.  I and others believe tariffs could be much more detrimental than what was represented in the article.
