SYRACUSE – Tara Lynn Thornburg, 23, Syracuse, passed away at 1 a.m. Feb. 20, 2015, in Lutheran Hospital of Indiana, Fort Wayne. She was born June 4, 1991, in Goshen, to Troy L. Thornburg and Rachel M. Coons. She was a lifetime Syracuse area resident, and graduated in 2010 from Wawasee High School, Syracuse. She was formerly employed at New Market, McDonald’s, Marathon Gas Station and Taco Bell, all in Syracuse. She formerly attended the North Webster Church of God. Surviving are her parents, Troy and Rachel Thornburg, Syracuse; a sister, Tanya Thornburg, Syracuse; a brother, Trenton Thornburg, Syracuse; grandparents: Pam Nichels, Lynda Thornburg, Paul Stouder and Donnabelle “Dot” Stouder, all of Syracuse; and Jerry Thornburg, Lakeside, Mont.: a niece, Leah Thornburg; a nephew, Talon Thornburg; and several aunts, uncles and cousins. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Owen Family Funeral Home, 1001 S. Huntington St., Syracuse, with Pastor David Henry of Calvary United Methodist Church officiating.
