September 19 marked International Talk Like A Pirate Day. Triton fifth-graders celebrated by dressing up like pirates and adopting the lingo for the day. The students participated in activities such as using context clues to identify the meaning of pirate vocabulary, reading about real pirates, and writing a pirate spin on classic nursery rhymes. Luckily, no one had to walk the plank. Mrs. Brosman's class is pictured.
