First-grade children at Madison Elementary went to Kelly Park for tadpole hunting. Darci Zolman and staff from the Soil and Water Conservation office had several activities for the children to do. They made bird feeders, walked through the woods, made 'tree cookies', played games and looked for creatures in the pond. After exploring nature the children had a picnic. Pictured are three Madison first-grade boys after a hard days work at tadpole hunting.
