William “Frank” and Beverly Tackett, rural South Whitley, celebrated their 55th wedding anniversary Sunday. The couple were married Oct. 19, 1959, in Warsaw. Frank attended Warsaw schools, and Beverly attended Leesburg school. Both are retired. They are the parents of four children: Deniese Griffith and Dorothy Tackett, both of Warsaw; Jeffrey Tackett, Oklahoma City, Okla.; and Rachel Mayer, Pierceton. They also have 11 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
