This seems to be the attitude of the Times-Union. I became aware of this tabloid mentality back in the late 1950s or early 1960s when we all had nightmares for months after we were subjected to seeing the horror of a woman laying on the floor of her garage with a knife sticking out of her back.
Shame on you. You can sell papers without this type of reporting. Some things never change.
