AKRON – Tippecanoe Valley School Board will be asked to approve several different grants Monday.
Superintendent Blaine Conley said someone from each of Tippecanoe Valley School Corporation buildings received a grant. He also said every little bit counts.
“We’re really proud of the work the teachers have done being innovative in their classrooms,” he said.
Among the grants to be approved Monday are a donation of $800 from Akron Church of God for Akron Elementary School’s first grade Soft Start, $750 from Rochester Farm Credit Services for Tippecanoe Valley FFA, $100 from Yoga for Arts for the Tippecanoe Valley High School art program and $500 from the Atwood Lions Club for the TVHS Boomerang Backpack Program.
They will also be asked to accept the resignation of the varsity girls soccer coach Mark Gordon. Conley said the school corporation has already posted the position to be filled.
Also Monday, the Board will be asked to accept the hiring of three instructional coaches.
