The day will begin with a 5k Run, for all ages. Registration begins at 8:30 a.m. at the old Arthur's building across from Dairy Queen.
This year's event will kick-off with a “Celebration” Parade at 10 a.m. The parade will begin at Main St. (downtown Syracuse) and Ind. 13, south on Ind. 13 to Medusa Street, just north of the railroad tracks.
Following the parade, the festival will begin at 11 a.m., located at the corner of Ind. 13 and Chicago Street, across from CVS and Taco Bell.
The festival will consist of: art fair, food vendors, 3-on-3 basketball tournament, dunk tank, bouncy house, face painting, corn hole tournament and more until 7 p.m.
At 12:30 pm, Pedal Cart Races will be held at Mutual Bank of Syracuse on the corner of Ind. 13 and Pickwick Dr. “Big, Bang, Boom” fireworks will be on Lake Wawasee and cap off the evening at dark. Fireworks can be seen from the Public Boat Launch area on the East side of the lake.
