SYRACUSE - Christmas is nearing and that means it's time for the annual Christmas Bell Walk.
The Syracuse-Wawasee Garden Club will host the walk Dec. 8 from 1 to 4 p.m. The homes of Todd and Angel Oesch, Tim and Robin Stiffler, Bud and Jill Stiffler and John and Bess Stetler will be showcased on this year's walk as will the Syracuse Community Center.
Area residents volunteer their homes to be on the walk. They do most of the decorating themselves, showing their personal tastes in Christmas decorations.
Tickets are $5, including refreshments and entertainment by the BrassWinds at the Community Center and a map for directions to each home. Proceeds of the sales support scholarships and town beautification projects.
