Syracuse Man Faces Meth Lab Charges

SYRACUSE -ÊA Syracuse man was arrested Monday night for his alleged involvement with an illegal methamphetamine drug lab in Syracuse.

Samuel Coquillard, 42, of 603 Steele Drive, Syracuse, was arrested and booked into the Kosciusko County Jail at 10:44 p.m. Monday. He was charged with operating an illegal drug lab, a Class D felony, and is being held on $2,000 bond.

A two-month investigation at 801 Harrison Court, Syracuse, led to Coquillard's arrest Monday. A methamphetamine lab was seized at the residence, police said.

The occupant of the Harrison Court residence, Scott Luiz, 39, allegedly also was involved with the drug lab. He was not taken into custody Monday night, but a warrant for his arrest will be requested.

The incident remains under investigation, and more arrests are expected.
