Syracuse Man Faces Child Molesting ChargeAfter admitting to molesting three children, a Syracuse man is facing a child molesting charge.
Ronald Dewayne Hensley, 54, of 5251 E. CR 800N, Syracuse, was booked into the Kosciusko County Jail at 9:02 a.m. Friday for child molesting, a level 4 felony. His bond was set at $20,000 surety and $250 cash.
Indiana State Police trooper Chad Larsh responded to the North Webster Police Department Jan. 2 in reference to a child molesting, according to court documents filed Wednesday.
He spoke with Hensley, who said he wanted to confess to child molesting.
Hensley said he touched a child’s genitals when the girl was 9 years old. He pulled her pants down, looked at her and stimulated himself. He said this happened about 12 times in his Kosciusko County residence sometime in 2012.
Her name and relationship to Hensley were redacted in court documents.
Hensley also said that about 16 times he fondled two other children when they were between the ages of 6 and 8.
The first child was interviewed by a woman from Child and Family Advocacy Center. The girl said Hensley touched her genitalia with his hands and fingers.
