A Syracuse couple faces meth cooking charges after a traffic stop led officers to their home, where a meth operation was found.
Randi Renee Ravenscroft, 37, and Scott Thomas Johnson, 45, both of 9412 N. CR 500E, Syracuse, each face preliminary charges of manufacturing methamphetamine and possession of a legend, after Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Dept. deputies pulled them over near the intersection of Husky Trail and Whitetail Run, Warsaw, around 6:45 p.m. Saturday.
During that stop, deputies found unidentified precursors associated with meth making. After interviews with Kosciusko County Drug Task Force officers, enough probable cause was established for police to get a search warrant for the couple’s Syracuse home, the department said.
Inside the couple’s home, police found an ACL generator and various “one pot” methamphetamine labs brewing, the department said.
The Indiana State Police Clandestine Team was called in to process the scene.
Ravenscroft and Johnson are each being held in Kosciusko County Jail on $10,000 bonds.
