NORTH MANCHESTER – Sylvia O. Conley, 53, of Silver Lake, and formerly of Akron, died at 12:15 p.m. April 29, 2013, in her residence. She was born July 16, 1959, in Paintsville, Ky., to Walter and Sallie M. Gambill Owens. On Dec. 24, 1976, she married Roger D. Conley, who died July 25, 2001. She was a homemaker. She was a resident of Silver Lake since November 2012, had formerly lived in Akron for 13 years. Surviving are a daughter, April R. (and spouse Jeff) Fuller, Akron; her mother, Sallie M. Owens, Oil Spring, Ky.; three brothers, Billy Joe (and spouse Fannie) Owens and James (and spouse Anita) Owens, all of Oil Springs, and Danny (and spouse Jackie) Owens, Kentucky; two sisters, Judy (and spouse David) Mollett, Kermit, W.Va. and Sandra Owens, Paintsville; and two grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father, a son and a brother. Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday at McKee Mortuary, North Manchester, with Pastor Henry Arnett Jr. officiating. Burial will be in Lakeview Cemetery, Silver Lake.
