BRIDGEVIEW, Ill. - Syble M. Walker Lawton, 73, of the Chicago area, died recently.She was born Dec. 7, 1935, to Wes and Grace Walker. On Jan. 26, 1957, she married James Lawton, who survives.She was a devoted wife and mother, a Chicago area residence since 1952 and a faithful member of United Pentecostal Church of Harvey. She lived her life with a spirit of kindness, gentleness and love.Also surviving are five children: Jackie (and spouse Tony) Sell, Bourbon; Jo (and spouse Ron) Faulkner, Warsaw; Barbara (and spouse Eugene) Bishop, Dyersburg, Tenn.; Jim (and spouse Gwen) Lawton, New Port Richey, Fla.; and Paul (and spouse Noelle) Lawton, Mankato, Minn.; 13 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; her siblings: Quenton (and spouse Kathryn) Walker, Wendell (and spouse Joy) Walker, Donald Travis (and spouse Corrine) Walker and Jan (and spouse Jere) Tucker; and many beloved nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents.Services and burial will be in Dyersburg, Tenn. Hann Funeral Home, Bridgeview, Ill., is in charge of arrangements.
