Jon and Linda Swoverland, Warsaw, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary Sunday. Jon and the former Linda Hull were married Dec. 1, 1963, at First Baptist Church of Warsaw. Jon retired as the assistant chief of the Warsaw Fire Department in 2004 and from Swoverland Construction in 2005. Linda retired from Lake City Bank in 2006. The couple are the parents of two children, the late Terry Swoverland and his spouse, Holly, Leesburg, and Katrina (and spouse Ron) Brandenburg, Warsaw. They have eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. They plan to celebrate this milestone with an open house.
