Suzanne Pachynski, age 72, passed away on June 5, 2025, at Goshen General Hospital.
She was born on April 27, 1953, to Paul and Rhudell "Birda" Yeager. Suzanne was a lifelong resident of Syracuse and dedicated her life to her family. She married her husband Jim Pachynski on July 23, 1980, in Las Vegas.
Throughout her career, Suzanne worked as a waitress at several area restaurants, most recently at Peterson Fish. Her friendly nature and commitment to providing excellent service made her a cherished fixture among diners and colleagues alike.
Suzanne graduated from Wawasee High School in 1971. She had a passion for life that was evident in everything she did. Suzanne cherished her family, who were the center of her universe. She loved traveling, with Gettysburg holding a special place in her heart, as it represented a blend of history and adventure that she truly enjoyed.
In her leisure time, Suzanne found joy in crocheting and baking, often sharing her delicious creations with family and friends. She was also an avid fan of the soap opera "Days of Our Lives," especially her favorite character Bo Brady. Her engaging personality and love for life left lasting impressions on those who were fortunate enough to know her.
Suzanne is survived by her devoted husband, Jim Pachynski, of Syracuse; her daughters: Michelle Pachynski, of Milford; Amanda (Aaron) Meyer, of Georgia; and Megan Pachynski, of Washington; as well as her cherished grandchildren: Bradley Dragoo, Kris Marquart and Cora Meyer; along with great-grandchildren, Jaxon and Jasper Marquart.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her son, Edward Paul Pachynski, who passed away in 1983.
