SYRACUSE – Susan Elizabeth Stump, 67, of Wickenburg, Ariz., and formerly of Syracuse, passed away Nov. 4, 2013, in Phoenix, after a long illness. She was born May 5, 1946, in Wolf Lake, to Betty Jean Palmer and Samuel Lewis Stump. She had lived in Arizona for 17 years. She was a loving mother, loved to prospect for gold, was an avid rock collector and a caring grandmother. She is survived by a daughter, Jena (and spouse Ed) Flavell; two sons, Michael J. (and spouse Brenda) Stump and Samuel S. Joseph Stump; a granddaughter, Sarah E. Lemmon; five grandsons: Johnathon Stump, Christopher Efaw, Kyle O. Koenig, Billy A. Wooden and Ronnie J. Flavell; two sisters, Judy L. Wolf and Sarah Sally Strong; and several nieces, nephews, wonderful family and cherished friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Debra Christian. Graveside services will be at 4 p.m. Tuesday at McClintic Cemetery, 8079 E. McClintic Road, Syracuse. Owen Family Funeral Home, 1001 S.
