Editor, Times-Union: I have had the wonderful privilege of knowing Jack Wilhite for almost 10 years. In that time, I have worshiped with him, served with him and have been blessed by his friendship. He has served faithfully at our church as a deacon, elder and Sunday school teacher. He helped the congregation as we transitioned into our new building. Jack is a strong leader and a man of integrity. I am so blessed to be his minister and friend. On a personal note, I will never forget the love that Jack and his wife, Theresa, showed our family at the birth of our premature daughter. They stepped in and were family to us, when our family was far away. I strongly encourage you to vote for Jack. He loves the Lord, he loves people and he loves this community.
