Continuously serving Kosciusko County since 1854
Editor, Times-Union:
I am writing to show my full support for Don Wiesehan in his bid for County Commissioner. I’ve known Don for years — first as my football and track coach and later working with him at the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department. Over that time, I’ve come to know him not just as a coach or supervisor, but as a trusted friend.
As Jail Commander, Don led the right way. He was honest, firm but fair, and always focused on doing what was best for the department and the county. He has a strong ability to step back, look at the bigger picture, and make decisions that truly matter. More than anything, he cares about people, his team, their success, and the community they serve.
That same mindset is exactly what we need in county leadership. I have no doubt Don will continue to lead with integrity and put the needs of the county first.
