Supports Metzger

Posted
Editor, Times-Union:

There is a saying that goes something as, be careful of the stones you throw if you live in a glass house. So it can be said of those who would accuse Mr. Metzger of rants and ravings.

Not one of those that say this of him can prove what he says is not the truth. Just because one may not like how another writes or says something in a letter form does not make that person a ranter or a raver, for it can be proven by facts that they, and not Mr. Metzger, that have not did any research to back up their claim.

So let's start with a few verifiable facts. Mr. Metzger wrote a letter about Hispanics being called mistisoes, or something close to this. So I searched the California, Arizona and The New Mexico newspapers to see if they made reference to this word that Mr. Metzger used, for he did make a reference as such. Well, what do I find, I find that is exactly the word they use. It is used in reference to those who are in this country illegally. In all the papers I managed to read not one word was said that this was racial profiling. The only place I saw this was in the letters to the Times-Union. Score one for Mr. Metzger, none for the accusers.

Then there was the one about The Trans Texas Super NAFTA Highway. This, too, is a reality, one that is being fought by the people of Texas to stop from happening. Score two for Mr. Metzger, none for the accusers.

Then there was the letter on the North American Union. This, too, is a reality. A reality that in the end is to result in Mexico, the United States and Canada to be come one super state. With one government, from which all of Central and South America are to be added to, the Constitution of The United States will be come null and void. It is a fact that both Mr. Bush and Mr. Cheney, along with the rest of the Elitists Establishment, for this is what they call themselves, are up to their eyeballs, in not only wanting this to happen but are pushing for it to happen as fast and as soon as it can be accomplished with the NAFTA Super Highway, but another piece used to make it happen. In any book or in any word that can be used to describe it. This is treason and under the Constitution is an impeachable offense. In any other country, but here, these people would probably face a firing squad for attempting the overthrow of a sovereign government. Score three for Mr. Metzger, none for the accusers.

In the next letter, it will be the issue of the MIAs and we will see if Mr. Metzger is wrong, or is the teller of the untruth as has been leveled at him.
