I find it truly amazing that there are residents in the county that find it necessary for the elected officials within the county to give us guidance as to what we need to do in order to ensure the safety of our families.
I applauded the commissioners for their lack of action. I, as an adult, don't need to be told or lead by an elected official to determine when it is too dangerous to travel.
As far as companies wanting to remain open, it should be between the company and their employees, or customers. What happened to the good old days when common sense and the ability to think and choose for yourself was all it took to be responsible and safe? I believe that the majority if the residents in this county still possess this quality. Hopefully the others are few.
It appears that the commissioners of this county take a lot of crap for what they do or, in this case, didn't do. Neglect? Incompetence? Please, you're kidding, right? I don't always agree with all the decisions they make but I think overall they are doing a decent job with what is before them. Remember this is still America if you don't like the way of things, have the ambition to get involved and make some changes.
It appears to me like Jennifer Arnold may have other issues with the commissioners, this just happens to be the latest one to push her over the edge. Good luck, Ron, Brad and Bob, can't wait to see what you do wrong next.
