NAPPANEE – The Nappanee Public Library invites the community to celebrate National Library Week from April 20–25.
National Library Week is a nationwide celebration that highlights how libraries connect people, share knowledge and bring communities together. It’s also a great time to show your support for your local library, according to a provided news release.
The Nappanee Public Library encourages everyone to stop in, explore what’s available and take part in activities throughout the week. Whether you’re picking up a book, attending a program or signing up for a library card, every visit makes a difference.
Events for the week include:
• Coffee & Cookies, Monday, April 20, 9–11 a.m. Start the week with a free morning treat at the library.
• National Library Week Storytime, Monday, April 20, 10–10:45 a.m. A special library-themed storytime for children ages 0–12.
• Farmers Market, Thursday, April 23, 5–7 p.m. Support local crafters, bakers and makers at this community market in the library parking lot.
Visitors can also stop by each day to take part in trivia and enter to win a basket of goodies.
The best ways to support the library are simple: visit often, sign up for a library card, check out materials, or consider joining the Friends of the Library group.
