Jacqueline Brown, 22, recently was sentenced in Kosciusko Superior Court I to two years in jail for forgery, a Class C felony. She will receive credit for time served and good time credit totaling two days.
She was ordered to pay court costs.
The court will consider a sentence modification if she is accepted into the Serenity House program.
Rocha Receives Suspended Sentence
Daniel Rocha recently was sentenced in Kosciusko Superior Court I to two years in prison for battery. He will receive credit for time served and good time credit totaling two days.
The sentence was suspended and he was placed on probation. As part of his probation, he must pay a $100 initial, $100 administrative and $20 monthly probation user's fees.
He also must pay court costs; immediately enroll in a course to get his GED; get his GED before May 15, 2010; enroll in classes at Ivy Tech or an equivalent institution of higher education; and serve nine days in the Kosciusko County Jail.
Greenley Sentenced
Donald Greenley, 18, recently was sentenced in Kosciusko Superior Court I to 1-1/2 years in prison for counterfeiting, a Class D felony.
He will receive credit for time served and good time credit totaling two days. The sentence is suspended pending good behavior.
As part of the probation, he must pay a $100 administrative, $100 initial and $20 monthly probation user's fees. He also must pay court costs and restitution and enroll in at least one class per session at Ivy. Tech.
For a second charge of burglary, a Class C felony, he was sentenced to two years in prison with credit for time served and good time credit totaling two days.
He must serve the prison time for the burglary charge before serving the probation for the counterfeiting charge.
Belcher Receives Suspended Sentence
Charles K. Belcher, 32, recently was sentenced to one year in prison for theft, a Class D felony.
He will receive credit for time served and good time credit totaling two days.
Pending good behavior, the sentence will be suspended and he will be placed on probation.
As part of his probation, he must pay a $100 initial, $100 administrative and $20 monthly probation user's fees. He also must pay court costs.
