A passenger in a pickup was injured Sunday morning when the vehicle went off the road, into a ditch and hit an embankment. According to a Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department accident report, the passenger, Roy D. Kindig, 46, East CR 800S, Claypool, suffered pain to his upper arm when the accident occurred shortly after midnight Sunday on South Packerton Road, 2,500 feet north of East CR 800S, Packerton. The driver, Andy J. Kindig, 53, East CR 800S, Claypool, did not report any injuries. Damage was estimated at $1,000 to $2,500. Photo by Gary Nieter.
