Sidewalk construction has begun in Warsaw with both sides of the street down to ground level on Park Avenue, looking north of Fort Wayne Street. Walkways and curbing will be poured from Center to Clark streets. Old concrete has been removed on Reed Street already, according to assistant superintendent Dave Tackett. Curbing is scheduled to be poured June 12 with asphalt milling to follow. Once the asphalt base is laid, the sidewalks will be poured, probably the week of the 17th, Tackett said, depending on the weather. New sidewalks also will be installed on portions of Scott Street.
