Summer Dance Programs Offered At Debra Collier's School Of Dance

Looking for summer activities for your children or yourself? The summer programs at Debra Collier’s School of Dance feature dance and theme camps along with an introduction to dance class, Get Up & Dance! and Zumba. From camps with the studio’s own princess to workshops with a nationally known master teacher, the studio has something for everyone. Dancers 18 months to 3 years old can enjoy their first class experience with mom right by their side in Mommy & Me. Preschool students can take advantage of the short six-week session or enjoy a magical time at Pretty Princess Camp. Dancers 4 to 7 years old can flit and flutter in the magical land of fairies at Fantastic Fairy Camp, dive into an under-the-seas adventure in Mermaid Adventure Camp or move to a faster beat in Get Up & Dance! for kids ages 5 and up. Princess Jasmine® Camp no longer has openings available, however, you may request to be placed on a waiting list. Boys 5 to 12 years old won’t want to miss the obstacle course and hip-hop fun of Boys’ Athletic Boot Camp.The energy never ends in the Hip Hop Workshop for ages 10 and up in Cheer Camp for ages 7 to 11. Exclusive to DCSD Cheer campers - girls will have a chance to showcase their accomplishments at KC Mustangs football games. Dancers 8 years old and up will want to take advantage of the opportunity to study with master teacher Jeremy Plummer. All camp and class sizes are limited. Closing out the exciting summer are auditions for the studio’s second annual Christmas Show, Aug. 10 and 11. Auditions are open to the community for children 6 to 18 years old.
