There were 235 students from Triton Elementary School who participated in the week-long Northern Indiana Sumdog Math Contest. Combined they answered 63,343 questions correctly. Triton ended up in fifth place out of 16 schools participating. For the overall student leaderboard, in fifth place was Lexia Hostrawser with a score of 938 points; seventh place, Haley Rensberger with a score of 913 points; eighth place, Ty Ferry with a score of 910 points; and in 10th place, Ashton Oviedo with a score of 906 points.
