Sue Carol Hepler, 80, Etna Green, died at 8 a.m. Wednesday, April 27, 2016, at her residence.
She was born May 13, 1935, in Warsaw, to Charles Clayton and Ruth Magdelin Ross Hammer. On June 20, 1953, she married Dick Hepler, who survives in Etna Green.
She was a lifetime resident of Kosciusko County, where she was a 1953 graduate of Mentone High School. She was a member of Aldersgate United Methodist Church, Atwood, where she taught Sunday school for many years. She was a dedicated homemaker and a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
Sue will be lovingly remembered by two daughters,  Brenda (and spouse Shaun) Bruner, Mentone, and Marcia Shirey, Warsaw; four grandchildren: Amber (and spouse Zaven Papakhian) Shirey, Portland, Ore.; Scott Shirey and Clint (and spouse Crystal) Dennie, all of Bourbon; and Chad (and spouse Emily) Dennie, Mentone; and three great-grandchildren, Maddox, Bria and Lilly Dennie. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, Warsaw, with Pastor Mike Beezley officiating. Burial will follow with a graveside service at Stony Point Cemetery, Atwood.
Calling is from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
