Sarah Elizabeth Stuckey and Ensign Benjamin Luke Scripture, U.S. Navy, were married June 14, 2008, at The Bridge at Central College, Pella, Iowa, with Dr. Ben Scripture officiating. The bride is the daughter of Rick and Debbie Stuckey, Pella, Iowa; the groom's parents are Drs. Ben and Karen Scripture, Warsaw.
Maid of honor was Anna Stuckey, Pella. Bridesmaids were Rachel Stuckey, and Danielle Newendoep, both of Pella; Carolyn Scripture, Warsaw; and Rachael Webel, Morris, Conn. Flower girl was Emily Hufker, St. Louis, Mo.
Best man was Matt Sitts, Mentone. Groomsmen were Fletcher Adam, Palo Alto, Calif.; 3C Petty Officer Ryan Anglin, U.S. Navy, San Diego, Calif.; Ensign Mick Walters, U.S. Navy, Shenandoah, Iowa; and Rob Pritchett, Cincinnati, Ohio. Ushers were Ryan Pritchett, Warsaw, and Ben Stuckey, Pella. Ring bearer was Ethan Ashworth, Wyoming, Minn.
A reception was held at Central College, Pella.
The bride is a nursing student at the University of Mobile, Ala. She is a 2005 graduate of Pella Community High School. She completed her pre-nursing studies at Liberty University, Lynchburg, Va., and University of Maryland, Baltimore campus.
The groom is a U.S. Navy pilot in training, Pensacola, Fla. He is a 2004 graduate of Tippecanoe Valley High School, Akron. He earned a bachelor's degree in systems engineering from the United States Naval Academy in 2008.
After a wedding trip to Big Sur, Calif., the couple reside in Pensacola, Fla.
