A contract with Herceg and Associates to study the Parker Street - Center Street - Argonne Road intersection was approved by the Warsaw Board of Works Friday. The $15,000 agreement calls for the city to provide Herceg engineers with existing traffic counts and turning movements at the intersection, future traffic projections, accident records, copies of aerial photography for the area and other pertinent records.
In return Herceg will prepare a draft of the intersection, where Walgreen's has proposed to build a new store. Plans call for one stop light at that corner, with an angled cut to the southwest corner of Argonne Road.
