On Saturday, May 10, at 12:25, my son returned items to Lowe's intending to pick up more items so he could complete a deck for me for Mother's Day. Unfortunately, when they gave him an in-house gift card he dropped it. Someone instantly found the card and with no intentions of turning the card into customer service, checked out by 12:50.
More than $200.00 was spent with my card to help pay for their purchases (one item being a lawn mower). I know people need to take care of their lawn, which makes the mower a necessary item, so it must not matter where the money comes from, just so you have one.
Who will pay for the gas to run the mower as my card will not be available? If your neighbor, friend, spouse or whoever came home with a mower from Lowe's early Saturday afternoon, you might question who helped pay for it and other items.
Fortunately for us, Lowe's helped us retrieve the remainder of the money left on the card. It is wonderful to know that Lowe's offered that "small community" touch in helping us. You do not receive that great service from large companies anymore, so thank you Lowe's for going above and beyond.
