Stolen Boat

To whom it concerns: This is William McMahan. You recently did a story on me and my boats being stolen. Well, I got something everybody needs to know.

After my boats and aluminum boat-lift came up missing from Enchanted Hills, some of my friends found where they were and a police report was made when all of this stuff came up missing and when it was found and I said that I wanted charges pressed to the person that I don’t know. It’s taken the county three months to do a report on. Now they say that they gave this person the OK to take it all. There were a lot more there, car parts off a car I was restoring, interior out of my 30-foot boat I was working on, and boat trailer, too. He scrapped all this out and said that he got $1,500 out of it and totaled all the boats out doing it. That all of this stuff was for sale to get bond money to bond me out of jail.

They will not let me see the report, so all my stuff has been stolen. I really don’t know how to say this. Well, I guess I’m going to say get in your car and take a ride around until you see something you like or want then call the Kosciusko County P.D. They will give you permission to take it, then you can take it home and cut it up and sell the metal for money. They won’t do anything for for three or four months. By then it will be melted down and made into something else. Then they’ll deny that they gave it to you and everything will be OK.

They know who the bonded towing companies are. They know that was not the way that my stuff should have been handled, too. By this stuff being stolen from me, it took my chances of bonding out of this jail and taking chances away from me making money to hire a good lawyer. This is like a cat taking a crap then going to cover it up right. I need help getting out of this jail.

Is there anybody that can help me? I pray there is someone in this town or county that will help me.
