The Lee Anne Stewart Dance Schools is hosting its 36th annual dance production.
The theme for the show is "It's About Time" and each dance number is related to time.
"We are so excited to present this year's show to our friends, families and guests," said Lee Anne Stewart, exclusive owner and operator of the dance schools. "Finding each theme-related song and creating the choreography is always very fun and rewarding and each number is turning out to be wonderful."
The Syracuse studio will hold its performances at Warsaw Community High School Performing Arts Center June 12 at 7 p.m.; June 13 at 7 p.m.; and June 14 at 4 p.m. Performances also will be held for the Nappanee studio at Warsaw Community High School Performing Arts Center Saturday at 7 p.m., and June 7 at 4 p.m.
Tickets for the production are $8 each and are still available for all productions.
June will mark the close of Stewart's 36th year of teaching dance in the Wawasee area. A second studio was opened in Nappanee in fall 1996. Both studios host students from many surrounding communities including Goshen, Leesburg, Warsaw, Bremen and Plymouth among many others.
Some of the songs audiences will enjoy at this year's show include "Time Won't Let Me Go," "Saturday Night," "Manic Monday" and "100 Years."Also during the productions, more than 60 students will receive awards for five and 10 years of taking classes at the Stewart Dance schools.
"I'm so proud of each of the students performing, but I love recognizing the young dancers who reach these milestones in their dance education," said Stewart.
