Steven E. Wilson, 51, of Warsaw, died at 10:01 p.m. April 24, 2010, in Kosciusko Community Hospital, Warsaw.
He was born April 29, 1958, in Peru, to Donald E. and Ruth Sullivan Wilson, who survive in Warsaw. On Sept. 13, 1979, in Warsaw, he married Teresa Ratliff, who survives.
A lifetime resident of Kosciusko County, he was an assistant pressman at R.R. Donnelley & Sons for 30 years. He was a 1976 Warsaw Community High School graduate and received the Athlete of the Year award for the first male in 1976 (Tiger Club Award). He was a retired Leesburg Fire Dept. volunteer.
Also surviving are a son, Andy (and spouse Shanda) Wilson, Warsaw; a daughter, Sara (and spouse Hermillo) Garcia, Warsaw; a sister, Julie (and spouse Pete) Wehrly, Colorado; and five grandchildren: Hannah, Jacob, Abby, Antonio and Emma Kate. He was preceded in death by his grandparents.
A celebration of life will be at a later date.
No calling is planned.
