Steven D. Angel, 76, of Plymouth, passed away on Monday, June 12, 2023, at the St. Joseph Medical Center, Plymouth, after a short illness.
Steven was born on May 13, 1947, in Warsaw, at the McDonald Hospital to the late Marjorie Angel. Steven was a graduate of North Webster Schools. After high school, he enlisted in the U.S. Army and served as a x-ray tech.
He married Patricia Singleton on March 20, 1977, in Warsaw, and she preceded him in death on Aug. 7, 2017.
Steven was employed with Lakeland Sanitation and later Waste Management and retired from Walmart in 2019 from the produce department. Steven was a very active member of Plymouth Bible Baptist Church and served as song director for the last 14 years. He loved his church and music.
Surviving are his children: Joshua Angel, of Plymouth; Chandra Angel, of Plymouth; Stephanie White, of Vancouver, Wash.; Jada Angel, of San Antonio, Texas; and Tamie Jara, of New Braunfels, Texas; five grandchildren: Elisha, Isaac, Rebekah, Myles and Paige. He is also survived by a brother, Ronald (Betsy) Spiegel, of North Webster; and a sister, Cheryl (Dirk) Ferzerda, of Syracuse. He was preceded in death by his mother, his wife, Patricia; and a sister, Marlene.
A memorial celebration is currently being planned at the Plymouth Bible Baptist Church at a later date.
