BOURBON – Steven B. Hunsberger, Sr., 70, Etna Green, passed away Sept. 10, 2015, in his residence with his family at his side. He was born Sept. 30, 1944, in Mishawaka, to Harry and Janis Stayton Hunsberger. On July 17, 1993, he married Kim Shoemaker, who survives. He was a resident of Etna Green since 1972. He was retired as a truck driver and was a graduate of Tippecanoe High School Class of 1963. He enjoyed wood carving and was an avid Alabama Crimson Tide football fan. He was a member of Nappanee Missionary Church. Also surviving are seven children: Steven (and spouse Tracy) Hunsberger Jr.. Plymouth; Rodney (and spouse Tammy) Hunsberger and Tricia Chupp, all of Warsaw; Staci Ruggles, Middlebury; Veronica (and spouse Kevin) Moore, Visalia, Calif.; Tara (and spouse Brian) Moore, Angola; Joshua (and spouse Lindsay) Hunsberger, Niles, Mich.; 19 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; a sister, Vickie (and spouse Don) Reed, Argos; and two brothers, Douglas (and spouse Faith) Hunsberger, Mishawaka, and Chris (and spouse Holly) Hunsberger, Bradenton, Fla. He was preceded in death by his parents; four children: Tim, Barney, Abraham and Steven D.; a grandson, Austin Hunsberger; a sister, Donna Mae; and a brother, Ray.
